The procedure to install and upgrade SilverlightDesktop.net for DotNetNuke is the exactly the same.
To run SilverlightDesktop.net for DotNetNukeÔ 5 you need:
1) Log in as the Host account and navigate to Host Settings.
2) Click the link that says "Update Site to current Framework"
3) The site is now ready
Obtain the latest SilverlightDesktop.net for DotNetNuke from: http://SilverlightDesktop.net
Log in as the host account and select Module Definitions from the Host menu.
From the Module Definitions menu, scroll to the bottom of the page, and select Install Module.
Use the Browse button to browse to the install .zip file. Click the Next link.
Check the box next to Ignore File Restrictions. You may have to browse for the file again before clicking the Next link again.
Proceed through the steps of the install wizard by clicking the Next link on each screen. The module will install. Click the Return link.
Create a new page or navigate to an existing one and select Silverlight Desktop from the Module drop-down. Click the Add link to add it to the page.
The module will appear.
Note: in IIS you will also need to set the MIME Type: Setting .xap MIME Type for Silverlight 2.0
